  1. Pursuit of Happiness

A poor and smart man becomes a broker! This film shows how he makes a big effort to get a successful job!
This is one of my favourite films directed by Gabriele Muccino and produced by Toold Black, Will Smith and others in 2006.

Chris Gardener is played by Will Smith (protagonist), Thandie Newton plays Linda (wife) and Jaden Smith plays Christopher (their son).
Years ago in the history, they bought a considerable number of medicinal equipment to sell but through the time, these got unnecessary and expensive for doctors.

The film starts when the struggling broker takes care of his son as he's poseid to begin a life-changing professional endeavour. Special effects, music and directing plays a great role in creating the special moments.

My favourite character obviously is Chris Gardener because all time is striving for a job, a home, to earn some money that is so important in their life to take care of his son and makes him happy.
The special scene for me, it's when Chris gets the job of his dreams, cries and feels that feeling of knowing every effort has its reward.
I should mention this film makes me feel sad in some scenes but at the same time, proud about everything I have and I've managed.

If you are looking for a science fiction or romantic film, Pursuit of Happiness is not for you. But if you are interested in real life and want to think over, it is a good option to choose.

  2. Very good, Melany. You included the necessary elements: general facts about the film, characters, plot and your opinion. I wouldn't probably talk about special effects because they were not relevant. All in all you did a great job.
