ResponderEliminarAbout a year ago, it was believed that Suicide Squad would be a huge success because its trailer was so promising and the soundtrack of the film had great artists like Queen, even more, it had good actors such as Margot Robbie, Will Smith and Scott Eastwood. In the end, the film was criticized for its lack of plot and structure. Although it was a colossal success at the box office and DC´s fan base love the film.
This is only one example in which we can see the power of advertising and the impact that first impressions can have on us.
Advertising has literally become a science, one that has strict rules and meticulous studies of everything that could affect the products. There are people whose only job is to ask us how much we like a product.
Mass media holds power over our lives and decisions and also can affect the perception over what we see and what we purchase, but in the end, the control that we hold as purchasers exceeds the power over companies.
